A product page should answer these questions
| Field | What to record | Common mistake |
|---|---|---|
| Exact product | Full name and version | Confusing similar bottles |
| Contents | ml/g, number of items and refills | Treating a sample as a full size |
| Ingredients and directions | The manufacturer’s complete information | Substituting a creator’s summary |
| Date and storage information | What the label actually states | Guessing from an unfamiliar printed code |
| Seller and returns | Who fulfills the order and eligible reasons | Assuming all unopened products are returnable |
Use a small comparison sheet, not a long routine
Write down the products you already want, what you currently use and the information missing from each listing. If two products serve the same shopping purpose, decide which one you actually need before adding both. This is a purchase-planning method, not an individual skincare prescription.
Read the manufacturer’s ingredient list, directions and product cautions for the exact version. A promotional term such as soothing or brightening does not tell you the full contents or establish that it is suitable for you. If the label is incomplete or unclear, ask the seller or manufacturer rather than treating a translated social post as the missing documentation.
Read Korean shopping labels in context
용량 refers to quantity or volume, 전성분 to the full ingredient listing, 사용방법 to directions, and 사용기한 to a use-by date or period. A separate 제조일자 means manufacture date. Read the complete printed sentence and unit; an isolated date or batch code is not enough to tell which one it is.
If a gift set contains different products, check the individual labels as well as the outer box. Do not infer one product’s directions from another in the same collection. Save a clear photograph of the label when you buy in Korea so you can check it again at home.
Compare usable quantity and total cost
Illustrative prices, not offers: a US$20 bottle with 50 ml costs US$0.40 per ml; a US$30 bottle with 100 ml costs US$0.30 per ml. The larger bottle has the lower unit price but costs US$10 more upfront. It is better value only if you want and can use that amount. A bonus mini you would never choose should not drive the decision.
Keep units consistent and compare like products. Add shipping and checkout charges for the actual country. Do not divide an entire mixed gift-set price by the volume of just one item and call it a bargain.
Global returns and country eligibility matter
Olive Young Global’s policy gives 30 days from receipt to report a defective or incorrect item and excludes used items, change of mind and customer ordering errors. It does not provide exchanges. Save the order number and clear photographs if a problem arises, and contact support before returning anything.
The current Global site also states that this storefront does not ship to the 50 US states or Washington, D.C. Selecting USD as a display currency does not make a US address eligible. Confirm the destination on the relevant official storefront before building the basket. Korean store receipts have their own conditions.
Before you buy
- Confirm exact version, quantity and included items.
- Read complete manufacturer labels and directions.
- Clarify any date you cannot identify from the full label.
- Compare unit price and actual spending separately.
- Confirm the country and payable checkout total.
- Save labels, receipt and applicable return conditions.
Continue planning
Compare Olive Young in Korea vs Global online for shipping, bundles and return terms. Choose a Seoul shopping base, then compare Myeongdong, Hongdae and Gangnam against your actual itinerary.
